Summary: A preview of our new Dashboard is now available in Property Tree, with more features and content to be added progressively in a series of stages.

You will still have access to the Rent Calculator, Alert Bell, Portal Communication, Global Search and Need Help? functions.

This article will cover the first dashboard, Vacancies.

When you log into Property Tree you will still see the current dashboard. At the top of the screen you will see this notification:


Click on Try it now to move to the new Dashboard screen. The dashboard icon will take you to the current Dashboard. From there you can return to the new Dashboard screen by clicking on the Try it now link.

Once you click on the link, the following screen will display:










At present only one Dashboard is available, Vacancies. However, you will be able to see at the top of the screen the icons for each dashboard that will become available in time.






The order of these icons can be moved by clicking and holding on the icon until a light blue border appears around the icons. The icon you have clicked on can then be moved to a different location in the row.





However you chose to organise the icons, Property Tree will remember your choice for next time.

Click on View Filters to customise the data on the Dashboard as required. If you have more than one active trust account in Property Tree, you can filter the dashboard by choosing a Trust. Choose Portfolio to customise the data on the dashboard based on one or more portfolio. Choose Tags to customise further.

NOTE: Leaving the filters blank will give you results for the whole company.





NOTE: The filters chosen will remain next time you come into the new Dashboard.

The widget, Vacant Properties, shows you all properties that have no active tenancy profile.














You can click on the Property to go directly to the Property Profile. Vacate Date is the date that the tenancy vacated or the date the property was added to Property Tree, without a tenancy profile being added. Days Vacant is the number of days the property has been vacant, calculated from the Vacate Date or the Management Gained date, if there has never been a tenancy added.

The widget, Tenancies Vacated, shows all tenancies where the vacate date entered on the Tenancy profile is now in the past. The tenancy will continue to show here until the tenancy profile is archived or the Vacate Date removed or updated.













Click on the Tenancy to go direct to the tenancy profile. Click on the Property to go direct to the property profile. Vacate Date is the date entered into the tenancy profile that the tenant vacated the property.

Tenancies Vacating, shows all tenancies that have a vacate date entered in the tenancy profile that is in the future.













Click on the Tenancy to go direct to the tenancy profile. Click on the Property to go direct to the property profile. Vacate Date is the date entered into the tenancy profile as the date the tenant is due to vacate the property.

Each column has a View All button











This will link through to the relevant report in Property Tree, with all filters pre-applied, to see more details or export the report.

In this example we have clicked on View All in the Vacant Properties column you will move to the Property Vacancies page in Property Tree.
